Mandatory Insurance Verification

Begining on December 1, 2020 The State of Illinios has upgraded their verification to control drivers that are not insured.  From the 1990’s when they first started by doing a random check of 300,000 drivers once a year to respond with a mailed in form to prove insurance, the new approach will be twice a year for about 9 million each in coordination with a vendor and the Secretry of State cross referencing Illinois records.  In the old system you may have never heard of anyone being checked because it was for so few.  Under the new system virtually ever driver will e checked twice annually.
